For Jill Stuart Fall 2010, I see military-inspired details mixed with a schoolgirl look. Military features include pockets, hardware and epaulettes on jackets worn with plaid mini skirts and coats. Long, chunky scarves are tucked into belts, while chunky knit socks peek out of tall lace up over-the-knee boots. While the boots looked sexy, they definitely didn't look comfortable as the models walked down the runway.

The color palette includes army green, navy, purple, red, black and mixed prints. The mini dresses have a tight fit on the body, which would look great on a petite figure.

Seated show attendees received Jill Stuart's crystal diamond powder necklace and velvet pouch to store it in. A lovely gift to wear with your favorite dress!

Carlos Miele Fall 2010 is exuberant with colorful, flattering dresses, gowns and skirts that accentuate the body, showing off flattering curves with every step. The palette includes bright prints in red, turquoise, purple, pink, black and white, with solid colors focused on black and a gorgeous cobalt blue.

This collection includes strapless, one shoulder or asymmetrical gowns and dresses as well as elbow sleeve blouses and chic fur coats and vests.

After attending back to back morning shows at Lela Rose, Luca Luca and Binetti, I made my way to Robert Verdi's Luxe Lab for a much needed indulgent, retreat. This was the first time I have visited Robert's Luxe Lab and I had an amazing time. The week-long retreat during fashion week welcomed celebrities and media to experience brands that are shaping the future of fashion in new and innovative ways.

The first thing I did was try the healthy, tasty food and drinks from Blueprint Cleanse. With different juices available, I tried the spicy lemonade (water, lemon, cayenne and agave), which reminded me of one of my favorite drinks, the basil lemonade at Union Square's Republic. Then I tried a cosmo made with the new Absolut Berri Acai.

Nicole from Maidenform was on hand helping with bra fittings and introducing the new LIKE MAGIC bra, which adds 2 cup sizes!

Then Ashley took me through some of the partners at the lounge, including Rock & Republic jeans, which is one of my favorite denim brands. I can't wait to try one of their new dark washes in a skinny fit! I wasn't familiar with ShaToBu but I think it's the next big thing in shapewear - who can't love a shaper that helps you burn up to 12% more calories daily, just by wearing it and walking or climbing stairs?

I am now addicted to Popcorn, Indiana's kettle corn. I tried the original kettle corn but there are a few flavors, including aged white cheddar kettle corn, smoked cheddar cheese kettle corn, sea salt and movie theater.

Ashley also took me through the Carrera racing sunglasses and then to the beauty/spa area - Phyto, who was providing blowouts, nail polish and manicures by Ginger + Liz and makeovers by Jouer cosmetics. Jouer's products are stackable and lock into place - this is perfect for keeping your eyeshadow, bronzer and lip gloss all together, especially if your makeup bag is full or don't carry one around.

I had a fabulous time at the Future of Fashion lounge and will be sure to enjoy testing out all the goodies I left with. I also can't wait to get my Maidenform push up bra and Rock & Republic jeans!

Shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti

For Fall 2010, Binetti delivers dramatic pieces with long, flowing silhouettes in some bright prints including Eclipse and Red Saigon. The palette also includes a mixture of white, cream, red, yellow, gold and black. Diego Binetti draws inspiration from his exotic travels to the Far East, incorporating culture and ancient landmarks, creating opulent and sensual gowns and separates.

The first look down the runway is one of my favorites - a printed red and white empress gown. The majority of the fabrics come in silk chiffon and satin charmeuse. I can always count on Binetti for rich embellishments, this time with Swarovski crystal ball buttons, jeweled necklines and beaded detail. Accessories include multi colored incrusted beaded bands, double braided belts, mirror belts and two-tone or double sided satin sashes. Let's not forget the open-toe Giuseppe Zanotti shoes that appear as a pump as well as an ankle bootie.

This collection has a lot of separates that can be mixed into everyday wear - sheer chiffon blousons, silk charmeuse bo bo pants, straight leg skirts, cashmere cardigans, long cardigans and one of my favorites, the golden micro fabric semi-swing jacket.

Luca Luca Fall 2010 brings luxurious, sophisticated dresses and separates in silks, lame, laquered tweed, wool and leather. Beautiful, versatile dresses can be worn from day to night. There are a few amazing coats including a black laquered leather with lamb coat dress and blue fox chubby. The palette consists of ivory, mauve, eggplant, gold, silver, navy, grey and black. Details include sequins, beading and pleating.

My favorite pieces include the black sequin shift dress, black sequin top, eggplant chiffon pin-tuck blouse and pixel print pleated balloon skirt, blue wool and silk pleated dress and grey silk brocade lame and wool knit cocktail dress.

Lela Rose delivers one of my favorite collections for fall, with v neck, draped front and one shoulder dresses inspired by graphite drawing of nighttime skies by Vija Celmins, Hubble Telescope images of lunar floors and the shattered landscape seen on the Galapagos Islands.

The draped and molded shapes represent wind blown eroded landscapes and pyrite zippers highlight materials such as satellite jacquard, lagoon printed canvas, asteroid silk and moon rock embroidery. I love the liquid silks in sulfur, mars red, mercury and cobalt colors. Lela also uses embossed metelasse and fragmented lace.

This is my favorite Lela Rose collection to date - metallics, darker palette and prints are sexy, edgy and modern. These dresses are definitely not the type to get lost in the crowd. My favorite pieces include the liquid sulfur tank and night watch plaid draped skirt, the cobalt brocade zippered skirt, cobalt embossed metalasse skirt, liquid mars draped on shoulder dress and black shattered lace corset dress.

Halperin - classic ankle- strap pump with a hidden platform, straight heel and round-toe shape. The silhouette is adorned with multi-sized, scattered Swarovski black diamond crystals, depicting constellations of the Milky Way.

Liddell - the sandle version of the Halperin pump. Features an ankle strap, hidden platform sole and straight heel. This open toe shoe has a criss-cross strap for an evening feel, accented with crystal rhinestones.

Whitson - ankle bootie featuring a sculpted curved wedge heel, peep-toe, gunmetal back zipper and "rocky: cut-out details.

Castalia - the high heel version of The Whitson. This suede shoe features a stick straight heel, hidden platform sole as well as the peep-toe and "rocky" cut-out details seen on the Whitson.

Olympia - unique bootie that delivers the sophistication of a sleek pump combined with the warmth and functionality of a ribbed knit sock. Features a visible platform sole, straight heel, round toe and mary jane strap with gunmetal clasp.
