I caught the tail end of the Ideeën Autumn/Winter 2010 presentation at the Ideeën pop up store opening on Little West 12th between Washington and 9th Avenues.I glimpsed corset belts, black fingerless gloves, mohair jacquard sweaters and zipper detail with a sherry red, army green, cement grey, black and ash print palette.
This collection takes inspiration from structural cuts and utilitarian functionality. Masculine details are combined with ultra-feminine silhouettes and sheer, diaphanous prints of perlucidus clouds. The resulting looks are ultra-modern and wearable with a touch of sensuality.
