Vena Cava rocked the show, opening with the band "The Like". The Fall 2010 collection was inspired by Sheila Hicks and female artists of the 70s craft movement and what the Vena Cava woman would wear to her cabin upsate. The pieces had a minimal, American, 70s look, with classic elements and a hazy, rainy palette including cream, caramel moss, army green, charcoal, grey, black and a ultramarine print. The bustier and halter tops, knit and shirtdresses work well for a petite frame. The lichen grey charmeuse and copper viscose draped dress is my favorite look, flattering on the body.
