Fright Night - In Theaters August 19th
Fright Night is a thrilling and funny remake of the comedy-horror classic. I grew up with the 1985 original, and the revamp is definitely more scary, frightful and in-your-face 3D for those blood splattering scenes.
Colin Farrell has been one of my favorite actors for over a decade now, and it's about time he entered the horror genre! Farrell plays Jerry, the new neighbor who moves in next door to high school senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin). His character is evil, ruthless, creepy and hot at the same time (Colin Farrell as a vampire? I knew I was going to love that!).
The cast also includes Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Charley's best friend, Toni Collette as Charley's mom, Imogen Poots as Charley's girlfriend and a hilarious David Tennant as Peter Vincent.
Fright Night, directed by Craig Gillespie, opens in theaters this Friday, August 19th.
