I recently visited Lafayette 148 New York showroom to check out the Fall 2011 collection designed by Edward Wilkerson. The collection is modern and luxurious, inspired by Edward's recent trip to India.
The palette consists of camel and khaki neutrals, white, black, red and animal prints. Fabrics include fur, shearling, leather, jacquards and jersey.
Hemlines fall right above the knee or below the knee for longer silhouettes. The pieces have clean lines and leaner silhouettes. I took pictures of the models in my favorite looks, with the fur vest and skinny pant with leather patch at the top of my list.
This Clarissa Top with a high stand ruffle collar is a modern update to the white cotton shirt, and looks great with a pair of jeans, pants or skirt.
This Tie-Dye Deluxe Wool Fringe Cardigan is another favorite. It's cozy and casual, yet stylish.
Here are some more looks from Lafayette 148 New York's fall lookbook.
