The 39th Annual International Emmys

The 39th Annual International Emmy Awards, hosted by Jason Priestley, was held on November 21, 2011 at the New York Hilton. Winners span 6 countries: Chile (first time), Belgium, Canada, Portugal, Sweden and The United Kingdom.

Lady Gaga surprised guests by opening the show and presenting Nigel Lythgoe with the International Emmy Founders Award. Nigel is executive producer of American Idol and co-creator & executive producer of So You Think You Can Dance.
