This February for Ann Taylor Spring 2012, you'll find pieces inspired by modern art in high contrast colors and color blocking centered around coral. Accessories include exotic skin belts, cuffs and cutout heels, two-tone espadrille platforms, graphic stripe scarves and artisan jewelry.
In March, look out for graphic patterns and a neutral palette of white, khaki and navy that pop against vivid yellow, pink, blue and green neons. Limited edition watercolor silk scarves with luxurious oversized patters are inspired by vintage pieces from the 60s and 70s, while vintage estate necklaces are made modern with bold punches of day-glo color.
The collection also includes floral prints and stripes. My favorites tops include romantic lace, feather fringe and tie-neck. Colorful leather wristlets and cork platform skinny belts, platform wedges, sandals and clutches are key accessories.
