Since attending Food FĂȘte Chocolate and the New York Chocolate Show in November, I've narrowed down my top picks for Valentine's Day. Although I prefer to indulge in sea salt caramels, there are so many unique and interesting kinds of chocolate to try. So ditch the traditional heart-shaped chocolate box and pick out something new and unexpected.

Chuao Chocolatier Love Child, $15 - bonbons made with wine and chocolate covered strawberries
Gail Ambrosius Beerific Taster's Box, $12 - includes 7 truffles and 6 beer pairing suggestions
Chocolate for the Spirit Salted Caramel Ganache-Filled Buddha - milk chocolate filled with creamy pink Himalayan salted caramel
