Faded and frayed sea ropes and nets became the basis for Ann Yee's signature print for her spring / summer 2013 collection, utilizing mixed media, transparency and blocking techniques. What used to be bold colors turned into slightly muted shades or sun tie-dyed, creating a palette of seafoam, jade, spearmint, navy, teal, melon, citron and burnout stripes, mixed with neutrals of sage, ivory taupe and grey. The collection focuses on knits from cardis and tanks to skirts and dresses.
