Last month I attended a Spring 2013 collections preview, featuring Eileen Fisher, Rory Beca, Nieves Lavi, Patricia Nash and David Kahn. After hair and makeup touchups, I had a fun photo shoot accessorized with one of Eileen Fisher's scarves. Eileen Fisher's scarves are perfect for spring, in lightweight silk, linen, modal and cotton fabrics with dip-dye, ombre and crinkle and metallic stripe details. The scarves come from artisans in different countries such as India, Ethiopa, Japan and Italy, incorporating shibori and handlooming techniques. Some other favorites from Eileen Fisher include long tunics and high-low tanks in petite sizes and leather totes and ballet flats.

Rory Beca and Nieves Lavi are both known for silk separates and dresses in bold colors and prints. This season I am particularly drawn to printed shorts and pants.

Patricia Nash makes handcrafted Italian leather handbags and shoes inspired by travel through Italy and Europe. One of my favorites is the neon colorblock Vago iPad Case ($128), which has a burnished edge finish.
