fashionably petite: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Launch Party

On Thursday, September 5th, Target and Phillip Lim kicked off the first night of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week by hosting a private shopping event in celebration of 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target, before the collection launches on Sunday, September 15th.

Attendees included Jessica Alba, Emile Hirsch, Maria Sharapova and more.

The event also featured the reveal of "STYLESCAPE," a larger-than-life interactive photography display that showcased limited edition collection as worn by tastemakers across the U.S. and Canada.

I didn't get to the party until an hour after it started, and by then there was barely anything left on the shelves or the racks (I heard everything was gone within 10 minutes). This just means I'll be trying my luck at my local Target or online at Target.com.

The limited-edition collection of apparel and accessories includes bags, shoes, and scarves for women and men on-the-go. The collection consists of more than 100 pieces, ranging in price from $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel, and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories.

What 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target pieces are on your wish list? At the top of my list is the gold mini satchel ($34.99), crossbody bag in gold or black ($34.99) and the carry-all bag in grey ($54.99). The French terry sweatshirt in Boom print ($29.99) may be a fun choice to wear to New York Comic Con next month. I also wanted to check out the tuxedo jacket ($59.99), silk skirt in animal print ($29.99) and cami & tap pant in animal print.
