Backstage at Dennis Basso Spring/Summer 2014, Kabuki, assisted by Erik Soto and Sephora PRO, created the makeup look featuring a flawless face with a perfectly, black-lined top lash and matte bright lip to capture the freshness of the collection that mixed Hollywood Glamour with a youthful ease. "Pin-Up Chic' was the inspiration for the make-up this season at Dennis Basso," says key make-up artist Kabuki. "The vibe is flirty and fresh."
To re-create the above look, here are the products that were used:
For Face
Ardency Inn Americana Custom Coverage Concentrate
Marc Jacobs Beauty Brow Tamer Grooming Gel
Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Bold Blush in 204 Obsessed for a pink "flush' of color
Additional products include Make Up For Ever Hi Def Foundation for a dewy glow and Laura Mercier loose powder for the T-zone.
Pro Tip: Use a Beauty Blender's sponge to apply foundation to create a smooth and even canvas that has a effortless finish.
For Eyes
Guerlain Maxi Lash
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
Sephora Collection False Eye Lashes in Celebrity
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Tube - Eden - patted on the eyelid for a flawless nude effect that enhances the graceful sweep of black liquid liner along the upper lashline
Pro Tip: To make lashes really pop, apply mascara starting right at the lash line using a fan brush like the Sephora Collection Pro Visionary Lash Fan Brush #220 to open up the eye.
For Lips
Bite Beauty High Pigment Matte Pencil in Toast for a rich, orange/red lip
