Desigual Fall 2015 reflects on many cultures coming together - from folk crafts and lush landscapes to works of art from North, South, East and West. Desigual's canvas this season pulls from an abstract painting, a swatch of upholstery, a photograph in a book about Africa, a historic trip through Renaissance Northern Europe and a flush landscape full of flowers.
Fall 2015 features black and white geometric prints, multi-hued embroideries, Oriental carpet motifs and vivid abstract Baroque tapestries. The collection anchors around medieval gemstones, contemporary paintings and exotic flower bouquets, all rendered on printed tulles, jacquards, embossed hair, and duchess satin.
Among my favorites are a chunk-knit, ethnic print sweater, Nordic-print sweater coat, black-and-white pullover sweater paired with a black-and-white geometric tube skirt, faux fur bomber jacket, and sheer folk embroidery motif blouse. I also loved how the looks were accessorized, with pompom hats and bright, yellow suede ankle boots. I always anticipate how Desigual mixes contrast prints together. You can always count on Desigual to be fun, playful and vibrant.
