I was so excited to wear my colorblocked heeled oxfords. I designed at Shoes of Prey! I wanted to design something unique that I didn't have in my shoedrobe, and incorporate one of my favorite summer colors - mint green. When choosing the colors for my shoes, I color-matched the leather swatch to my new USE UNUSED mint green skirt (which I got for $40 at the USE UNUSED sample sale). I also added in metallic gold to glam up the shoe and a blush/nude tone to make it more wearable. I think these shoes would also look great with a mint or blush-toned tulle skirt, or jeans and a tee. The shoes are pretty comfortable, with a 3.4" heel. My heeled oxfords came with a shoe bag, shoe inserts and a pic of my shoe! Check out my whole Shoes of Prey design experience here. My vegan leather Sorial Park Avenue Tote has become my go-to bag, from the office to events, fitting everything from my DSLR camera to my cosmetics bag and change of shoes. It paired nicely with my new Shoes of Prey shoes!

TonyMoly NYC Flagship Store Opening

On June 26th, Tonymoly celebrated their 1st year anniversary with a new flagship store opening in the heart of Korea Town at 35 W 32nd Street in NYC. This location was previously shared between Koryo bookstore and The Face Shop. Currently you'll find bookstore items on the other side of the store and Shine 32 (Kpop accessories and jewelry) on the second floor. 

There's a brow lounge as soon as you walk in, plus tons of promotion items. Towards the back of the store, you'll find a wall of Tonymoly's top 8 products, tons of mask sheets, including red wine, avocado, aloe and seaweed, and makeup and hair stations. 

As I walked around there were so many items in fun, cute packaging that immediately got my attention, like the Fruit Princess Gloss, Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patch, Apple Hand Cream, Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist, Gold Black Sugar Mask and Latte Art Strawberry and Cappuccino Cream-In Scrubs. 

The store may be narrow for a flagship, but jam-packed with makeup and skin care galore, Tonymoly style. I'll definitely be back to shop some of the necklaces ($18-$28 range) upstairs, which are perfect for layering and also make great gifts.

Ciaté London Colour Cosmetics Collection at Sephora

I was so excited when I got to preview the Ciaté London Colour Cosmetics Collection, which launched exclusively at Sephora this past spring. I've always been a fan of the brand's nail products, and it was great to see the brand extend its range into cosmetics, with the motto LOVE.PLAY.COLOUR.

The colour collection is split into three categories: Hero pieces which fit into any make-up bag, Core collection items available on an extended variety of shades, and Trend collections, which highlight the fresh-off-the-runway trends and innovative textures. 

I love the Trend Report featured on all of the packaging, which tells you tips on how to utilize each product. The packaging also has a snapshot of how the color looks on the lips or eyes.

Glitz Grip Lip Adhesive / Lip Pigment Glitter, Shimmer, or Velvet

Holographic glitters, pearlescent powders and velvety textures.

Apply a thin layer of the Glitz Grip sealer onto lips, then dab the pigment applicator into the Glitz Grip sealer, then into the pigment to pick up the particles and press directly on lips.

Here's a look at the Patent Pout in Abracadabra that I tried on during the preview. This has to be my favorite Ciate product and bold color! I always make sure I have on a lip gloss or lipstick and I love that Patent Pout combines the two in one product! The super shine is amazing!

Nordstrom 2015 Anniversary Sale Beauty Exclusives

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale just started this weekend! It's time to stock up on favorites and new beauty products! This is one of my favorite times of the year, when I get to preview Nordstrom's beauty exclusives, from skincare and makeup to fragrances and candles. Check out the highlights below from the preview and the amazing deals you'll find at Nordstrom stores and at nordstrom.com, now through August 2nd. 

Perricone MD 'The Plasma Essentials' Set: $90 ($170.50 value)

This set is amazing for $90! It comes with the Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment, Hyalo Plasma, Cold Plasma Eye and Photo Plasma. This set will keep your skin looking hydrated throughout all seasons.

Fresh 'All-Star' Kit: $53 ($80 value)

Fresh is one of my favorite skincare brands. I love refrigerating the Soy Face Cleanser in the summer for that extra refreshing feeling when washing your face. My lips are always chapped, so the Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment is great to use year-round to keep my lips moisturized.

As for spa skin care products, Mario Badescu was the first ever spa I went to for my first facial, back when I was 22 and working for Bloomingdale's. It was right then and there I fell in love with their products.

I've had the pleasure of being able to indulge in one of Erno Laszlo's facial treatments at Erno Laszlo The Institute at 382 West Broadway in NYC. Their products are so luxurious, you can have create your own spa-at-home experience. I can't wait to try the overnight sleep mask - my skin really needs the nutrients, since I don't get that much sleep. The skin revitalizer acts as a booster to refresh, plump and soften your skin.

Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System: $119.20 ($149 value)

I absolutely love these new mod floral designs! It's so summery and fun! Especially when the air is so humid, my Clarisonic makes me feel like I have gotten all the foundation and makeup off my face.

I love this bright plum/purple lip set. It's a very distinct color so I think I'll go to Nordstrom and try the set on first. That's one thing I love about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can explore the different makeup shades or take home skincare or fragrance samples and really test it out before buying it. Many places only offer ready-made samples packaged by the brands but Nordstrom can actually make the sample for you. During the anniversary sale you'll most likely see empty sample containers or fragrance vials that you can easily fill yourself! 

Trish McEvoy 'Naturally Gorgeous' Power of Makeup Planner Collection: $168 ($546 value)

This set comes with everything you need and more to replenish your makeup! I also love the fuchsia clutch that the makeup brush set comes in! It's perfect for storing those beautiful brushes and then using the clutch for an evening out!

Bobbi Brown 'Secret to Standout Eyes' Set: $85 ($133 value)

Charlotte Tilbury is one of those coveted brands that you want to get your hands on as a set, because it's just not affordable to get all of these pieces on their own. You might pick up a mascara or eye pencil but with this you are getting so much more, including a travel size moisturizer, beach stick, full-size beauty flash elixir, mascara and eye pencil. 

Smashbox 'Photo Op ' Mega Palette: $69 ($280 value)

It's crazy how much product you are getting in this set! The 'Photo Op'' eye shadow trios alone are $28 each! It even comes with a guide that tells you how to create each look.

I actually rock a nude lip a lot and play up my eyes with mascara and eyeliner, so this set is perfect for me. This is perfect for everyday wear, especially for the office. It's curated with Hourglass' best sellers, so you know it's a set you're gonna love!
