The MOMENTUM by Timo Weiland for Crowne Plaza runway show took place on Tuesday, September 12th during Kia STYLE360 NYFW at Metropolitan West. The show kicked off with a performance by Ocean Park Standoff.
MOMENTUM by Timo Weiland is a new wardrobe collection for hotel team members. The collaboration is part of the Crowne Plaza Accelerate program, a $200 million, three-year initiative created to place the hotel brand at the forefront of the way modern business travelers want to do business.
Crowne Plaza Americas' Style Directors Timo Weiland, Alan Eckstein and Donna Kang named the collection MOMENTUM to represent the Crowne Plaza brand's commitment to being a design-led, culturally relevant and technology-driven brand. Cintas, the world's largest supplier of hotel uniforms, was chosen to manufacture the collection.
To best showcase the new wardrobe collection, four frontline hotel team members nominated by their fellow employees were selected to walk the runway.
The looks for the show were broken down into outfits for valet, doorman and bellman, front desk, food & beverage: servers & host, food & beverage: bartenders, and Timo Weiland signature modern classics.
Here's a look at some of the key pieces for each hotel team function looks:
Valet: baseball caps, polos, banded knit cardigans and chino pants
Doorman and bellman: fitted texture dress shirts, solid knit ties and chino pants
Front desk: stripe knit ties, non-iron blouses, blazers and Jay Godfrey Greenwich pants
Food and beverage: servers & host: short sleeved white shirts and Metropolitan Aprons
